(Edgework, Mechanics, Body Control, Transitions, Stops/Starts, PowerSkating, Band Skating)

Day 2: Puck Skills

(Puck handling, Passing, Puck Control, Tight Area Stick Work, Deceptive Movements)

Day 3: Shooting

(Different Shot Types/ Mechanics, Creating Shot Lanes, Deceptive Shooting, Creating Power/Accuracy)

Day 4: Skill Combination/Game Situations, Competitions

(Applying Learned Skills into Game Situations, Competitions)

OFF ICE:

We will have OFF ICE Training everyday in between ice sessions. These will take place in the RC4 Hockey Training Facility, located in the basement of ICEWORKS Rink 4. We will not only be going through workouts, but we will be teaching the girls HOW to train specifically for hockey, WHY we train the way we do, and how it will benefit them on the ice. ALL EXERCISES will be performed under the watchful eye of TRAINED professionals, and will always be age/experience appropriate exercises.
